I believe technology should strive to deepen our connections to the world around us & to each other. I have been many “Rachels” in my career. Notably: I taught art to high schoolers, I analyzed art auction data for Deloitte reports, and I wrote my dissertation on social media & art buying. I have even held positions at leading art world institutions like Phillips, Christie’s & The Frick Collection. At Artsy, I built their email program from the ground up, automating production & implementing user journeys based on customer behavior. Today, I lead a global team dedicated to helping clients solve complex marketing challenges by turning data into visual experiences. I’m grateful for my winding road. But this all started because I was a nerd who loved art and built websites about artists for fun on GeoCities in the late 90s. (When the Internet was still relatively pure.)
